The Learning Disability Helpline (England) was launched on 3 December 2001
It is available by phoning Freephone 0808 808 1111 from 10am to 4pm, Mondays to Fridays, with a 24hour answering service.

From April 2002, the telephone service will be extended to outside normal office hours. It is available throughout England and all calls are confidential and free.
